Device safety is a basic requirement for an electrical or electronic device. The assemblies must be developed, designed and manufactured, that they meet the essential health and safety requirements, which are defined in the low-voltage directive.
Tests and measurements
- Electrical safety tests:
- Testing the protective conductor resistance
- Insulation resistance and equivalent leakage current
- Voltage test up to 6 kV
